Holy mother of God, thanks to my friend Drew who is constantly updating his Facebook feed with news stories, I just read that a man from Arizona accidentally shot his penis off with his girlfriend’s pink pistol. Listen up kids, this is why you never stick a gun in your waist band, especially if the safety is off. You never know when the damn thing will go off and rob you of your manhood, or at least part of it.
Although the whole thing was an accident officials report that the man dumb enough to shot himself through the dick and leg could be facing weapons charges. You would think that shooting himself in the groin would be enough punishment for any man, but onlookers interviewed by ABC15 news in the parking lot where the incident took place agree it was the guy’s fault for not learning how to properly handle his weapon.
I don’t know about that, watching episodes of Law & Order has thought me that every wannabe gangster in the world likes to holster his gun in the waistband of his pants. However, the thing that has me chuckling all by myself at my desk is the detail about his girlfriend’s pink pistol.
I’m not saying it’s right that colors have gender classifications, but you can’t deny the fact that pink is the color of choice for baby girls, and when you consider that guns make the top of the list in terms of phallic symbols, it’s kind of hilarious that the guy shot off his wee-wee with his a pink pistol. This is just another reason not to be caught dead carrying your girlfriend’s accessories, ya know, if you buy into that kind of stereotypical shit.
It’s hardly ever cool to laugh at other people’s misfortune, but in this case, just to make it clear, I give you all permission to take in a good laugh at your desk or on your couch whatever the case may be. After you cringe a little at the thought of this happening to you, laugh I tell you, laugh at the poor schmuck who shot his dick off with his girlfriend’s pink pistol. No one will hold it against you, I swear.
Ah shit, on second thought, now I kind of feel bad for the guy. I hope they’re able to save his dick.
