We all know that sex and politics go together. It’s just the rest of the world that pretends not to see the correlation between what could be such happy bed fellows.
Ex-madam, Kristin Davis, the women who supplied escorts like Ashley Dupre to Eliot Spitzer when he was governor, is now running for governor herself. Davis managed to get 23, 000 signatures (over 15, 000 over the required amount) in support of her candidacy as an independent challenger to Andrew Cuomo.
Kirsten was the vice president of a hedge fund and spent over 10 years in finance, well, before she was providing cock sucking services for a minimum of $1, 000 an hour which built her a mulit-million dollar business. But no matter what way you look at it the women is a bright and innovative business woman.
Kirsten spent four months in jail for pleading guilty to the promotion of prostitution and is on probation for the next five years. That will make her the first woman in New York history to run for office while on probation. What better way to keep tabs on a parolee than have them in the public eye?
Davis wrote on her website:
“I am running on a platform of personal and economic freedom. I want to end the prohibition on marijuana, gay marriage and casino gambling to generate new revenues instead of raising taxes on already over-taxed New Yorkers.”
All in all, this is one politician that actually seems to make sense. Go figure.
