As a short, confident, big-headed man I identify with Kanye West. He’s been one of the biggest names in hip hop for nearly a decade and set the standard for over-the-top hip hop bravado. While I may be a humble mathematician/porn blogger – whenever I do work with Kanye in the background, for those moments I am the king of my domain. It simply makes everything better, maybe even porn.
According to a Hollywood based gossip website, West met with a “major porn company” to discuss the possibility of producing porn versions of his music videos. This apparently didn’t sit well with current girlfriend Kim Kardashian, who became famous through the release of her sex tape back in 2007. Upon finding out about Kanye’s plans, Kimberly reportedly “had a total meltdown.”
If there is any truth to this, I think it would be awesome for both the porn and music industries. I haven’t watched a music video in years, and even when I did the only ones I enjoyed were those that were nearly pornographic to begin with. Kanye West is a really smart man, and if someone did have both the music library and unrivaled balls to do something like this, it’s him.
