Malice in Lalaland is going where we’ve been dying for a film to go. It’s porn meets mainstream. Plus there’s a mental institution, creepy Donny Darko-style midget rabbit and Ron Jeremy. It’s all shot on 35-mm film just in case you questioned whether you were sober or not. The budget was $600 000 and stars some of the best in the industry; Sasha Grey, Kagney Linn Karter, Mackenzee Pierce, Jesse Capelli and Phoenix Marie just to name a few.
The plot (yes a plot) is loosely based off of Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass. According to the AVN Review:
Hurtling at you with a psychotropic maelstrom of animation, live action and a growling bass track, it delivers right off on the promise of its fantastical, ultra-slick box art, and just gets better from there.
We still don’t know how they’ve pulled this off without a pizza boy, contractor, teacher, cable guy or pirate in sight. We’ll try not to hold that against them
Truthfully we’ve never look forward this much to a porn. Unfortunately Belgium based Miss Lucifer Productions has only released Malice in Lalaland in PAL format. So in North America we can only watch it on a computer. Even though we’re never very good with delayed gratification, we may just wait for our DVD.
