Where do you go once you have completed a 30 year career as the top adult male performer winning every award and in everyone’s hall of fame…if you are Randy West you head for Vegas and play golf. The only regret Randy tells MB about his illustrious and remarkable career over three decades is signing an ill-fated contract that took his Randy West Productions company away. That is a short list of regrets for such a long storied career.
Randy talks about Jenna Jameson’s first screen performance and his many sexual escapades with almost 2500 female performers. Christy Canyon and Tori Welles hold some fond and lasting memories. Randy also has the distinction of being the first male model in Playgirl to be shown with an erection. This is but one of countless firsts this legendary performer can recall. He also helped start the creampie craze when he first dropped one in Jenna Jameson back in the day.
Randy came from New York to Miami to play college baseball (left field for University of Miami) but sidetracked in to fronting rock-bands, being a hippy and eventually landing a lead roll in Mystique, his first adult production…1300 movies later and Randy has one of the most interesting varied careers imaginable. He retells the days of furiously hopping on one leg, trying put his pants on, while simultaneously running from the police, who regularly busted early porn shoots.
Randy was writing a book about his life experiences and things stalled a bit, but MB urges him to finish it. I say we all Tweet Randy to say thanks for helping to develop this industry and to finish the book…certainly a top read on my list. We can only hope the book does justice to a man who blazed a wide path for so many others in our business. Be Well Randy, we love you.
