DamageDolly is a cam-girl and a webcam stripper, but the thing that makes her different from every other dime a dozen chick who peddles her body online is that she doesn’t have a vagina, or tits for that matter.
She used to. I mean, she was born with all the right parts in all the right places, but heroin use and an unfortunate illness or two later and she had to have six surgeries; including but not limited to a colostomy, a vulvectomy, and a double mastectomy.

When Vice writer Omar Katerji received a link to a (very NSFW) photo-set at the site Efukt, he was intrigued by how a woman who had most of her sexual organs removed found the courage to disrobe in front of the all too mean Internet. Her name is Sally and he tracked her down for an interview.
Sally, or if you prefer DamageDolly, suffers from Crohn’s disease; “a digestive disorder and it can affect you anywhere from your nose and mouth to your vagina or anus.” By the time she was 18 the disease had already greatly impacted her health and her sex life:
You know where your pelvic bone is? My vagina hung down about that far and it was just like a mass of… I don’t even know. It was like elephantitis of the vagina. It was horrible. It turned out it was Crohn’s and chronic inflammation together. I had to have it all removed.

Like many people who have had debilitating body issues in the past, Sally claims that the adult industry has saved her life:
If it weren’t for webcam, I wouldn’t know that people still think I’m beautiful, to the extent that they’re willing to pay me for it. There are friends I text and talk to just from that industry, I can’t thank them enough. I’ve been so close to killing myself so many times and it just really gave me that solid foundation of help. At times, I just felt like a failing abomination of health and someone trying to be a mom who had no place being one, you know? So I owe a lot to the perspective I was able to gain from doing what I do. And with regards to porn, I have not had any offers, but I sure hope I get ‘em!
I haven’t had the health and physical problem that Sally has had to deal with, but I can definitely relate to how the adult industry can boost your confidence and make you feel beautiful when people are willing to pay for the privilege of seeing you naked.
