I like short and sweet contests. My attention span isn’t long enough to keep track of a competition that goes on for months and months on end. Of course, it’s a little bit easier to care when that’s my job.

Pornhub has been looking for a new creative director since March – MARCH, might as well be another world ago – and they finally picked a damn winner. If y’all remember, instead of posting a job ad like normal folks they decided to launch a contest to help them find a super duper ad person to run their “safe for work” ad campaign.

Some of the entries were hilarious.

Out of 3,000 entries from 2,000 contests, the powers that be narrowed it down, last month, to fifteen worthy finalists. And now, where once there was fifteen remains one:


Nuri Gulver, of Istanbul, Turkey was awarded a one year paid contract as Pornhub’s new ad bitch. The 24 year-old is understandably psyched. He’s not sure how to explain is new job title to his parents, but like the song says: “there’s nothing you can do that can’t be done” when you’ve got hand.

That’s the way The Beatles wrote it, right?

As Pornhub execs put it…. in a really hilarious choice of words: Gulver’s submission, “All You Need Is Hand,” “beat out the final 15 due to its inherent mass appeal and ease of penetration to different advertising platforms.””

He said “beat” and “penetration.” Giggle. Giggle. Giggle.
