You get to make your own decisions about your life in between the sheets. Taking responsibility for your actions is all par for the course though. Safer sex practices can save your life and save you so many headaches in the long run.

Use condoms, my Peepz. You can make up all the excuses you’d like. I’m not judging anyone for how they bang. Having sex with me has always required a condom at the bare minimum. My wife and were talking last night about the fact that out of all of my friends from back in the day, I’m the only one who never caught anything, including a pregnancy. Like I said, no judgement. If you get something, go to your doctor and get yourself sorted out. I would rather just avoid the transmission of STDs as best I can on my end.

Why are diseases like chlamydia, gonorrhea, and syphilis on the rise?

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says it has a lot to do with the fact that a lot more people are using drugs, like methamphetamines or heroin when they are having unprotected fuck sessions with multiple people.

Blanket statement that drugs are bad? I feel like I need to through that in there. Drugs fuck up your life and should be avoided at all costs.

People also seem to be less frightened of disease in general. When AIDs was in the news all the time and people were dying in every community, people were terrified to have sex without condoms. Now that there are treatments (possibly a cure?? That would be amazing), I think that some of us may have forgotten, or not even experienced, living in fear of sexual contact. Millennials never lived through the early 80s and all of the conversations that were constantly being had about safer sex practices.

Peepz, drug-resistant gonorrhea is a thing now. That’s terrifying to me.

Out of sight, out of mind, sometimes. We have to remember to not forget the past though. Repeating the 80s and watching a sexually transmitted plague ravage through our communities is not the way we should go about ignoring this problem.

How can we stay as safe as possible? By educating ourselves and our partners as much as we possibly can. We are intelligent beings who have the capacity to learn about diseases. No sex is completely safe, but if you use barriers like condoms when you’re fucking, you improve your chances of getting out of the other side of the pleasure without causing yourself more pain.

Here’s a clip from a PornHub Amateur showing you exactly how to put on a condom, and how to take it off once they’re cum inside.
