I love porn, but with porn you know what you’re getting. There’s nothing better than renting some old Hollywood flick and realized halfway through that you’re about to be treated to one hell of a hot sex scenes between A-list stars (or B-list), you know, the kind of stars that are above pornography when really there’s no difference between what they do and what pornstars do.

When Léa Seydoux & Adèle Exarchopoulos scissor in Blue is the Warmest Color, when they kiss and they grab each other’s tits it’s just as real as when Dana Vespoli and Kayden Kross do it. It’s somehow hotter in a mainstream movie, though, because suddenly something that is a national pastime, something that is done in public with friends and family, and I’m talking about watching a movie here, suddenly it becomes illicit.

Sex scenes in mainstream movies were that much more important before the widespread availability of Internet porn. I didn’t have porn tapes growing up, I had regular movies with sex scenes that were rewound over and over again until I finally got off. The phone booth sex scene in True Romance comes to mind. That VHS tape definitely got worn out in one specific spot.

So here’s an ode to those movie scenes that got us riled up enough to want to do something about it when we got home from the movie theater.

5. Wild Things – Neve Campbell & Denise Richards

I didn’t see the twist coming when I saw this movie for the first time, but man was I happy when I saw the big reveal.

4. Room in Rome – Elena Anaya & Natasha Yarovenko

I’ve never seen this movie, but I think I should. It looks fucking hot.

3. Better Than Chocolate – Karyn Dwyer & Christina Cox

Better Than Chocolate is a great sexy movie. There are several sexy scenes and beyond that the movie itself is actually worth watching.

2. Black Swan – Mila Kunis & Natalie Portman

Is it real? Did it happen? Was it all in her imagination? God, this movie was fucked up.

1. Blue Is The Warmest ColorLéa Seydoux & Adèle Exarchopoulos

I couldn’t find a video of this scene (i.e. a legal sponsored one), so here’s a couple of GIFs to show you what you’re missing.
